This week marks World Autism Day, on April 2nd and it's perfect timing for debut author and Aspergers sufferer Megan Hammond. Megan has spent most of her life bewildered by the world, including her parents. At the age of 26 she was at last diagnosed with Aspergers, which helped explain a lot about her social awkwardness. Read this fascinating, sometimes disturbing account of what it was like to be Megan. She does herself and her family proud. Here is the press release:
