Arrived in Canberra for the Conflux Speculative Fiction convention today after a hairy drive from Sydney with blustery winds and sheets of rain across the windscreen making visibility difficult. But here I am! Looking forward to all the workshops on various topics and to be on two panels - 'Boundaries in YA Fiction' and 'Steampunk'. Yay! Also I will be doing a pre-launch launch of The Anything Shop, with author and scholar Dr. Gillian Polack introducing it.
