I was privileged to be a part of the fundraiser last Saturday for Blue Mountains bushfire victims, in particular, the children who lost their homes, and of course, all their books in last year's devastating fires. The event, organised by the fabulous Judith Ridge of Westwords , raised over $2000. As a local author, I enjoyed meeting my community and sharing my books with them. Simon Marnie, from ABC radio 703 hosted the event and was a sterling MC.
